Living The Volunteer Spirit

The Hollywood Women’s Club Community Service Programs and Special Projects are structured to enable the Club to harness our vast resources as volunteers. HWC works locally and nationally to bring about positive change with an unwavering dedication to community improvement through volunteer service. Simply put, we impact lives, through acts large and small.

We are distinguished from other service organizations by the breadth of our outreach spanning all areas of the lives of our members, their families, and communities: arts, conservation, education, home life, public issues and international outreach.

With busy lives, it can be hard to find time to volunteer. However, the benefits of volunteering are enormous to you, your family, and your community. The right program can help you to reduce stress, find friends, reach out to the community, learn new skills and even advance your career.

It is important that you keep track of the volunteer hours you spend on behalf of the Hollywood Women’s Club. Please use one of the online forms on the Submit Your Volunteer Hours page to submit your hours as you complete service activities. You can submit your hours as often as you participate in volunteer work for the HWC. We report service hours to the GFWC Florida annually, so it is important for members to let us know how many hours you have served.
